Event Description

Members of 2 Pl 983, and their Directing Staff, are invited to a 20th Anniversary Reunion Dinner at RMAS on Saturday 11th May 2019

Programme:
19:00 Reception Drinks in Old College Grand Entrance
19:30 Dinner in the Peninsular Room (3 course dinner with wine, coffee & mints), a cash bar will be available after dinner
23:00 Bar closes
23:30 Guests depart
 
Dress: Black Tie, no miniatures (long not required!).
 
Photographs: If you have any photographs of your time at Sandhurst, please email (.jpg) them to membership@sandhursttrust.org and they can be displayed on the evening.  If you are a member of the Sandhurst Trust, you are able to upload photos to the Gallery in the members area on the website to be searched for and seen by other members of the Trust.

Reports: When registering for the event you will be able to order a copy of your RMAS report (UK OCdts only) which will be available for collection at the reunion. We politely ask for a donation of £10 to cover the administrative costs of retrieving and copying the report, a very labour intensive process for a small charity. If, under the General Data Protection Regulation, you do not wish to make this donation please contact us.

Biographies: During the online booking process you will have the option to complete a short paragraph outlining your activities in the intervening years. These biographies will be compiled into a document for distribution at the reunion.
 
FAQs
Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Entry will be via the Staff College Gate only and be based on a nominal roll provided by the Trust.  You will need to bring photographic ID with you such as driving licence or passport.

Accommodation
Unfortunately there is no accommodation in the Academy, alternative options include:
Premier Inn Camberley, closest hotel situated immediately opposite Staff College Gate (A30).
Travelodge Camberley (central), beside the railway station.
Travelodge Camberley A30
Macdonald Frimley Hall
Pennyhill Park

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Your designated parking area within the Academy will be indicated on your car pass, cars can be left overnight and collected the following morning. If travelling by train Camberley is the nearest station, but not the most convenient for the majority of train journeys. Blackwater or Farnborough (Main) may provide better connections. If you are travelling by taxi please use one of the taxi companies with security cleared drivers listed below, it is highly advisable to book in advance.

What is the closing date & refund policy?
The closing date for applications is Sunday 28th April 2019, refunds for non attendance are not available after this date. Late bookings can only be accepted subject to catering availability, a late booking surcharge of £10 will apply.
