Gentleman of Commissioning Course 111, the Falklands Company.

In December this year it will be eleven years since you commissioned and the company staff sent you on your way. On that day, Olly Murs was number one with Dance with me Tonight, David Cameron was a year into his premiership and Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol was released, although so was Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked! I’m not sure which one is more relevant to you?

Much has changed since then and hence I’d like to invite you to celebrate 11 years since commissioning so we can catch up and share our adventures. I’m delighted that we can dine in the Indian Army Memorial Room on the 9th December, black tie, and that we’ll be together when we open the predictions of your future from 11 years ago.

The extra year has not made my predictions any less awkward!

19:30 Dinner in Indian Army Memorial Room, a cash bar will be available after dinner.
23:00 Bar closes.
23:30 Guests depart.
Dress: Black tie, no miniatures.

Ticket Price
The ticket price is all inclusive (reception drink, 3 course dinner with wine), booking is online (see below).

RMAS Report: When registering for the event you will be able to order a copy of your RMAS report (UK OCdts only) which will be available for collection at the reunion. We politely ask for a donation of £15 to cover the administrative costs of retrieving and copying the report, a very labour intensive process for a small charity.  If, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you do not wish to make this donation please contact us.

Photographs: If you have any photographs of your time at Sandhurst that you would like to be displayed on the night you can email them (.jpg) to and they can be shown on a screen. Alternatively you can coordinate amongst yourselves to bring a laptop or USB stick with you on the night containing your own compilation of photos.

Unfortunately there is no accommodation in the Academy, alternative options include:

Are there ID requirements to enter the Academy?
You will need to bring some photographic ID such as driving licence or passport with you. Entry to RMAS will be by the main (Staff College) gate only.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Your designated parking area within the Academy will be indicated on your car pass, cars can be left overnight and collected the following morning. If travelling by train Camberley is the nearest station, but not the most convenient for the majority of train journeys. Blackwater or Farnborough (Main) may provide better connections. If you are travelling by taxi please use one of the taxi companies with security cleared drivers listed below, it is highly advisable to book in advance.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you don't need to bring a ticket. An admin email confirming the details will be sent out a few days prior to the event.

Can I see a list of who else is attending?

What is the closing date & refund policy?
The closing date for applications is Monday 28th November 2022, refunds for non attendance are not available after this date. In the event of an attendee requesting a refund prior to the closing date we will retain £3.00 of the event fee paid in order to cover the online transaction handling fee levied on the charity. Late bookings can only be accepted subject to catering availability, a late booking surcharge of £10 will apply.
