Assistance provided during the Winter Term
During the winter term 2015 (September to December), in partnership with the Officers' Association, The Sandhurst Trust assisted 7 retired officers with welfare grants totalling £3700. Ages ranged from 28 to 88 with two female and five male beneficiaries. Grants included purchase of a computer for a severely disabled retired officer and assistance with travel costs for an 80-year-old to visit a terminally ill daughter. The following was received from a beneficiary:
