So far this year The Sandhurst Trust has assisted 13 former Army officers, the youngest 42 the oldest 100. Assistance ranges from the provision of mobility assistance such as wheelchair hoists and stair lifts, or white goods such as a new washing machine, through respite breaks to minor home conversions such as the provision of a wet room.
